2. Remove the through bolt and detach the damper fork from the lower control arm assembly (see Section Removal and installation the front shock absorber assembly with a coil spring).
3. Disconnect the push rod from the lower arm (see Section Removal and installation the front suspension push rod).
4. Disconnect the stabilizer bar strut from the lower suspension arm (see Section Removal and installation the front anti-roll bar).
5. Remove the cotter pin and loosen the lower control arm ball joint castle nut. Do not remove the nut completely yet. Use a 2-jaw puller to remove the control arm from the ball joint secured in the steering knuckle. Now loosen the castle nut completely.
6. Remove the axle bolt from the inside of the lower control arm. Remove the arm.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Do not forget to replace the cotter pin securing the crown nut of the ball joint (see Note to paragraph 3 of Section Removal and installation the steering knuckle).
