DTC*: This is the number of flashes (blinking) signal lamp D with the diagnostic socket bridged.
If the self-diagnosis warning light D does not flash, check according to the following table.

Note:
- If there are symptoms for code 6, you will need to simulate the symptom by road testing, then recheck for the appearance of the DTC.
- Occasional Warning Light and Fault Indicator Light (MIL) may light up at the same time. In this case, troubleshoot the PGM-FI main relay system according to the trouble code, then clear the memory by removing the BACK UP fuse from the under-dash fuse/relay box for 10 seconds. Drive the vehicle over 50 km/h, then recheck for the DTC.
