1. Make sure the ignition switch is in the "OFF" position.

2. Connect the special tester to the diagnostic connector.

3. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.

4. Make sure the tester has detected the connection and is ready to work.

5. Enter the "SRS" menu of the tester and select "Erase DTC" codes.

6. Turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position and wait 10 seconds.

7. Disconnect the tester.
