Cylinder head — warpage check (Honda HR-V 1)

Note:

• If the oil gap between the camshaft and brackets (see above) more than permissible, the cylinder head cannot be reground.
• If the oil clearance between the camshaft and brackets is within tolerance, check the cylinder head for warpage.
• If the warpage is less than 0.05 mm, regrinding of the cylinder head is not required.
• If the warping is between 0.05 and 0.2 mm, regrind the cylinder head.
• The maximum thickness of metal removed during regrinding is 0.2 mm with a head height of 93 mm.
