Operation in various lever positions
P - Parking.
Position when parking or starting the engine. The position in which the ignition key is removed.
Note: If the selector lever is in a position other than «R», the ignition key does not turn to the «0» and is not taken out.
R - Reverse.
Position when reverse gear is engaged. An audible signal sounds to remind the driver that you are reversing.
N - Neutral position.
In this position, you can start the engine, but it is safer to do this in the position «R».
D - Movement.
The position in which movement is normally performed.
L - The position used when it is necessary to apply the engine braking effect.
Operation of the selector lever
Switching the automatic transmission mode (models J, J4)
When switching the selector lever to the position «D» You can select the desired mode with the switch.
Pressing the mode button «S» switches to the mode «S». To return to the original mode, press the mode button «D».
When choosing a mode «S» a light on the instrument panel comes on.
- Mode «D» - for normal traffic.
- Mode «S» - It is used for sharp acceleration and deceleration of movement.
When the mode is turned on «S» you can drive efficiently at high engine speeds.
Instruction. If in mode «S» set the ignition key to position «I», the mode will automatically turn on «D».
Switching the automatic transmission mode (JS4 model)
Pregnant «D» selector lever, three modes can be selected. Pressing the mode button S1/S2 switches S1→S2→S1... To return to the original mode D, press the mode button D.
When selecting S1 or S2 mode, the light on the instrument panel lights up.

In S1 mode, you can drive efficiently at high engine speeds. S2 mode is even more efficient at high engine speeds.
