Drive shafts — check (Honda Fit 1)

1. Check the inner (A) and outer (B) hinge boot for cracks and damage. Replace the boots (A and B) and boot clamps (C) if necessary.



2. Check that the boot clamps (C) are not loose and that there are no grease leaks. Replace the boot clamps if necessary.

3. Check the drive shaft (D) for bends or cracks. Replace the drive shaft if necessary.

4. Check that the inner (E) and outer (F) joints are not damaged.

5. While holding the inner joint, rock the wheel clockwise and counterclockwise to ensure there is no excessive play in the joints.
