Disassembly and assembly of the intermediate drive shaft.
1 - ring,
2 - intermediate drive shaft,
3 - thrust ring,
4 - internal retaining ring,
5 - bearing,
6 - bolt,
7 - bracket,
8 - outer retaining ring,
9 - oil seal,
10 - retaining ring.
1. Remove the snap ring (A), oil seal (B) and outer snap ring (C).
2. Using a puller (A), press the drive shaft (C) out of the bearing (B).
Note: When pressing out, do not damage the ring (D) on the drive shaft.
3. Remove the inner retaining ring.
4. Using special tools, press out the bearing (B) from the bracket (A).
