2. Check up a condition of pistons.
3. Check the diameter "A" piston at a distance of 13 mm (L13A) or 16 mm (L15A) from the bottom of the piston skirt.
Piston diameter:
- nominal - 72.98 - 72.99 mm
- minimum - 72.97 mm
- repair (0,25) - 73.23 - 73.24 mm
4. Check the wear and ovality of each cylinder.
Measure the cylinder diameter on two mutually perpendicular axes "X" And "Y" in three planes A, B and C.
If the diameter of any cylinder exceeds the overhaul limit, replace the cylinder block. If the cylinders were bored, go to step "7".
Cylinder diameter:
- nominal - 73.00-73.02 mm
- maximum - 73.07 mm
- limit repair diameter (0,25) - 73.25 -73.27 mm
Boring allowance - 0.25 mm
Maximum ovality (difference between measurements with upper and lower planes) - 0.05 mm
5. Remove roughness and scratches from the surface of the cylinder mirror.
6. Check the flatness of the gas interface of the cylinder block using a precision ruler and feeler gauge.
Non-flatness:
- nominal - 0.07 mm
- maximum - 0.10 mm
7. Calculate the oil clearance between piston and cylinder.
Clearance between piston and cylinder:
- nominal - 0.010 - 0.040 mm
- maximum - 0.050 mm
