2. Clean the oil passages.
3. Check keyway and threads. Repair or replace if necessary.
4. Install the crankshaft into the V-shaped prisms.
5. Using a dial indicator, check the crankshaft runout on the central main journal. Make sure that the runout does not exceed the maximum.
Crankshaft runout:
- nominal - 0.03 mm
- maximum - 0.04 mm
6. Check the connecting rod and main journals for taper and out-of-roundness. Make sure that the taper and out-of-roundness do not exceed the nominal value.
- Crankshaft journal diameter - 49.976 - 50.000 mm
- Crankshaft journal diameter - 39.976 - 40.000 mm
Taper and ovality:
- nominal - 0.005 mm
- maximum - 0.010 mm
