Examination
1. The system under consideration provides the supply of purified air to the injection injectors during the operation of the engine. The supply of additional air allows the air-fuel mixture to be depleted and ensure its more complete combustion during acceleration.
2. Start the engine, accelerate it to 3000 rpm and wait for the cooling fan to operate. Reset engine speed to idle.
3. Disconnect the FIA valve air supply hose from the inlet sleeve and connect a vacuum gauge to the hose.
4. Manually open the throttle, then close it fully. The depth of vacuum should change with the change in engine speed.
5. If there is no vacuum depth variation, check the routing and condition of the vacuum hoses. If the hoses are OK, replace the FIA valve.
Replacement
1. Turn out a fixing bolt and remove the FIA valve from the pressure chamber of the air path.
2. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
