Examination

1. The system under consideration supplies purified air to the injection injectors during engine operation. The supply of additional air allows for the depletion of the air-fuel mixture and ensures its more complete combustion during acceleration.

2. Start the engine, accelerate it to 3000 rpm and wait until the cooling fan starts. Reduce the engine speed to idle.

2. Start the engine, accelerate it to 3000 rpm…

3. Disconnect the FIA valve air supply hose from the intake hose and connect a vacuum gauge to the hose.

4. Manually open the throttle valve, then close it completely. The vacuum depth should change with engine speed.

5. If there are no variations in the vacuum depth, check the correct routing and condition of the vacuum hoses. If the hoses are OK, replace the FIA valve.

Replacement

Replacement

1. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the FIA valve from the air duct pressure chamber.

2. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
