2. Mark the wiring harnesses from the injectors.
3. Place a cloth under the pressure regulator. Disconnect the fuel hose and fuel line. Plug the fuel line.
4. On the Prelude, disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel line.
5. On the Prelude, remove the EACV valve from the intake manifold.
6. Remove the fuel line nuts and wiring harness.
7. Remove the fuel line from the injectors, leaving them in the intake manifold.
8. Remove injectors and glands from each manifold port.
9. Remove the damping and sealing rings from each injector.
For installation:
10. Install new damping rings on the injectors. Install new O-rings on the injectors and coat them with a thin layer of clean oil.
11. Insert the injectors into the fuel line. Make sure the o-rings are not damaged.
12. Coat the new seals with a thin layer of clean oil and install them in the intake manifold.
13. Install the fuel line and injectors into the intake manifold. Ensure that insulators are present on the mounting bolts before installing the fuel line.
14. With all injectors in the manifold, align the center marks of the injector electrical connectors with the marks on the fuel line.
15. Install the fuel line nuts and tighten them securely. Make sure the harness is secured in its clamps.
16. Attach the vacuum hose and fuel hose to the pressure regulator.
17. On the Prelude, connect the fuel line to the fuel line.
18. Connect the connectors to the injectors.
19. Turn the ignition key to the ON position, but do not start the starter. After the fuel pump has been running for approximately two seconds, the fuel pressure in the fuel line will rise. Repeat this two or three times, then check for fuel leaks.
20. On the Prelude, install the EACV valve on the manifold.
