Gasoline vapors are explosive. Handle components slowly, preventing falls. Do not smoke or work near open flames. Have a dry powder fire extinguisher handy.
1. Relieve fuel pressure.
2. After disconnecting all fuel lines and electrical wiring leading to it, remove the fuel tank.
3. Remove the fuel pump mounting bolts and the pump assembly.
4. Install the fuel pump; tighten the fastening nuts to 6 Nm.
5. Install the fuel tank.
