Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the air intake pipe from the throttle body.
2. Drain the coolant to at least a level below the throttle body.
3. Disconnect the cooling hoses going to the throttle body.
4. Tag and disconnect the vacuum hoses from the throttle body.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector (s) from the throttle body.
6. Tag and disconnect the throttle cable and/or accelerator cable.
7. Remove the nuts securing the throttle body to the intake chamber. Loosen each nut 1-2 turns at a time to relieve pressure evenly.
8. Remove the throttle body assembly. Remove gasket.
For installation:
9. Install a new gasket on the inlet chamber; install the throttle body on the stands. Note that the gasket is usually not symmetrical, but has either a notch or a rounded corner; there is only one correct position for it.
10. Install fixing nuts. Tighten them evenly and alternately to 22 Nm.
11. Install throttle control cable and/or accelerator cable.
12. Attach vacuum hoses.
13. Attach cooling hoses.
14. Fill the cooling system.
15. Connect the air lines.
