WARNING: This procedure requires the use of the special tool or equivalent. A Honda Q7975-SA50000 or Q7975-SE00100 tappet bolt adjustment gauge must be used.
1. Install the adjusting tool on the end of the master cylinder. Adjust the bolt until the top edge of the tool is flush with the end of the master cylinder piston.

2. Do not disturb the position of the adjusting bolt, place the tool on the amplifier with the top side down. Install the nuts and tighten them to 15 Nm.
3. Install the pressure gauge and T-fitting on the booster vacuum line. With the help of an assistant, start the engine and maintain engine speed to obtain 500 mmHg on the pressure gauge.

4. Use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the tool body and the adjusting nut. The required gap is 0-0.4 mm. If the gap is larger, loosen the star lock nut at the rear of the booster; turn the adjuster to change the position. Tighten the lock nut securely.

5. Turn off the ignition.
6. Remove the pressure gauge. Remove the adjustment tool.
7. Install the master cylinder.
