Note: before disconnecting the cable from the battery, make sure you know the radio access code. Otherwise, the radio will be blocked.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the cover (A).
4. (Models with manual transmission)
Loosen the bolt, remove the bracket (A) clutch fluid reservoir and place it aside.
Note: do not disconnect the hose from the tank.
Master brake cylinder.
1 - filter,
2 - cover seal,
3 - cover,
4 - brake fluid reservoir,
5 - piston No. 1 (models with ABS),
6 - piston No. 2,
7 - stuffing box,
8 - retaining ring,
9 - piston seals,
10 - piston No. 1 (models without ABS),
11 - the body of the main, brake cylinder,
12 - locking pin (models with ABS),
13 - connecting sleeves.
5. Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap and drain the brake fluid from the reservoir.
6. Disconnect the connector (A) low brake fluid level sensor.
7. Disconnect the brake pipes (IN) from the brake master cylinder (WITH).
Note: after disconnecting the pipes, install plugs on them.
8. Loosen the nuts (D) fixing the brake master cylinder and remove the washers (E).
9. Remove the main brake cylinder from the vacuum booster (F) brakes.
10. Remove the oil seal (G).
Attention: when installing, position the gland as shown in the figure.
Note:
- Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
- After installation: check and, if necessary, adjust the height and free play of the brake pedal;
- Bleed the brake system (see section "Bleeding the brake system").
