CAUTION: The Honda Anti-Lock Brake System contains brake fluid under extremely high pressure within the pump, accumulator and modulator assembly. Do not disconnect or loosen lines, hoses, joints or components without properly relieving the system of pressure. Use ONLY tool OTHAA-SG00101 or equivalent for this purpose. Incorrect operation may result in personal injury or malfunction of system components.

1. Make sure the ignition is turned OFF.
2. Using a syringe or similar device, remove all fluid from the master cylinder and modulator reservoirs.
3. Remove the red drain cap from the top of the pump assembly.
4. Install the bleeder tool onto the fluid drain screw. Make sure the reservoir cap is secured to the tool.
5. Using the tool, turn the fluid release screw approximately 90 degrees to allow high-pressure fluid to enter the reservoir. Once the pressure has been released, back off the screw approximately one full turn to completely release the system.
6. Tighten the fluid bleed screw to 5.5 Nm and remove the tool. Remove the collected brake fluid; do not reuse it. Install the red cap on the drain channel.
