Adaptive Cruise Control (IHCC) System — Device (Honda Avancier 1)

The system is used on expressways and special highways where it is rarely necessary to accelerate or decelerate the vehicle. The system allows the distance and speed to be maintained automatically, without using the accelerator or brake pedals. (*1).

If the vehicle in front slows down, your vehicle automatically slows down to maintain a constant distance (*2). If the vehicle in front speeds up, your vehicle automatically accelerates to maintain a constant distance.

*1 The vehicle can be driven at a constant speed set within the range of 65-100 km/h (automatic transmission selector lever in position D, D ₃ or 2).

*2 As a result of your vehicle's deceleration, a constant distance is maintained. In this case, the driver is notified by a buzzer sound and a corresponding display on the screen.
