The system is used on expressways and special highways where it is rarely necessary to accelerate or decelerate the vehicle. The system allows the distance and speed to be maintained automatically, without using the accelerator or brake pedals. (*1).

If the vehicle in front slows down, your vehicle automatically slows down to maintain a constant distance (*2). If the vehicle in front speeds up, your vehicle automatically accelerates to maintain a constant distance.
