2. Remove the rear wheel.
3. Remove the rear brake caliper.
4. Remove the center hub cap.
5. Remove the cotter pin, holder and spindle nut.
6. Remove the brake disc. Remove the outer bearing and protect it from dirt, solvents, etc.

To install:
7. Install the disc on the spindle. Install the outer bearing.
8. Lightly coat the spindle nut and spindle threads with grease or oil. Install the washer and spindle nut.
9. Tighten the nut to 25 Nm and rotate the brake disc 2-3 turns. Retighten the nut to specification.
10. Repeat Step 9 until the nut is seated properly after turning the disc a few turns.
11. Loosen the nut so that it is slightly loose, but does not rotate freely or slip off the washer.
12. Tighten the spindle nut to 5.5 Nm.
13. Install the cotter pin holder so that the slots are aligned with the hole in the spindle. If this requires turning the nut, tighten it just enough to achieve alignment.
14. Install a new cotter pin.
