Warning!
  • Do not spill brake fluid on your vehicle; it can ruin the paint; if brake fluid gets on the paint, wash it off immediately with water.
  • To prevent brake fluid from leaking out of the reservoir, plug the end of the hose with a napkin.


HONDA Genuine Urea Grease UM264 (P/N41211-PY5-305).

Brake grease or equivalent rubber lubricant.

2. Remove the slave cylinder from the clutch housing.



3. Installation of the working cylinder is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Note: Do not forget to install the dust cover on the slave cylinder.

4. Bleed the hydraulic clutch system.
  • Connect the hose to the bleed nipple and lower the other end of the hose into a container with brake fluid.
  • Make sure there is sufficient fluid in the clutch master cylinder, then slowly pump the clutch pedal until air bubbles stop coming out of the hose connected to the bleeder screw.
  • When finished, fill the clutch master cylinder with fluid.
  • Use only genuine Honda Super Duty DOT3 brake fluid or equivalent DOT3 or DOT4 fluid.
  • Make sure the clutch is working properly and check for fluid leaks.
