Warning!
- Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle; it can ruin the color; If brake fluid gets on the paint, wash it off immediately with water.
- To prevent brake fluid from leaking out of the reservoir, plug the end of the hose with a napkin.
HONDA Genuine Urea Grease UM264 (P/N41211-PY5-305).
Brake grease or equivalent rubber grease.
1. Disconnect the clutch tube from the slave cylinder.
2. Remove the slave cylinder from the clutch housing.
3. Installation of the working cylinder is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: Don't forget to install the boot on the slave cylinder.
4. Bleed the hydraulic clutch system.
- Connect the hose to the bleeder port and dip the other end of the hose into a container of brake fluid.
- Make sure there is sufficient fluid in the clutch master cylinder, then slowly pump the clutch pedal until air bubbles stop coming out of the hose connected to the bleeder port.
- When finished, fill the clutch master cylinder with fluid.
- Use only genuine Honda Super Duty DOT3 or equivalent DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid.
- Make sure the clutch is working properly and check for fluid leaks.
