Warning!
- Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle; it can ruin the color; If brake fluid gets on the paint, wash it off immediately with water.
- Clean all components in brake fluid and air dry; blow out all channels with compressed air.
- Before assembly, wipe off dust and remove foreign particles from all components.
- Replace components if instructed to do so.
- Keep brake fluid free of dirt and other foreign matter.
- Do not mix different brands of brake fluid as they may not be compatible.
- Do not reuse drained brake fluid. Use only Genuine Honda Brake Fluid or equivalent DOT3 or DOT4 fluid.
1. Pry off the ring clip and remove it from the clutch master cylinder.
2. Carefully push the piston out by blowing compressed air through the clutch tube.
3. Assemble the piston, observing the direction of installation of the components (see above).
4. Insert the piston assembly into the clutch master cylinder.
5. Insert the ring clip into the groove of the clutch master cylinder.
