Warning!
- Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle; it can ruin the color; If brake fluid gets on the paint, wash it off immediately with water.
- Clean all components in brake fluid and air dry; blow out all channels with compressed air.
- Before assembly, wipe off dust and remove foreign particles from all components.
- Replace components if instructed to do so.
- Keep brake fluid free of dirt and other foreign matter.
- Do not mix different brands of brake fluid as they may not be compatible.
- Do not reuse drained brake fluid. Use only Genuine Honda Brake Ruid or equivalent DOT3 or DOT4 fluid (picture below).
HONDA Genuine Urea Grease UM264 (P/N41211-PY5-305).
Brake grease or equivalent rubber grease.
1. LUBRICATION (for brakes)
2. SPRING OF THE WORKING CYLINDER. Install with the small end facing the piston
3. BODY OF THE WORKING CYLINDER. Check cylinder walls for scratches and wear
4. BLEEDING PIPE. 7.8 Nm (0.8 kgf/m)
5. BLEEDER CAP
6. BOOT. Make sure it is securely attached to the cylinder body
7. PRESSURE ROD
8. PISTON OF THE WORKING CYLINDER. Check for wear and damage
9. PISTON SEAL A. Replace
10. PISTON CUP B. Replace
11. UREA GREASE UM264 (P/N41211-PY5-305)
12. LUBRICATION (for brakes)
