Clutch slave disc and pressure plate — installation (Honda HR-V 1)

1. Apply a thin and even layer of grease to the internal splines, seat on the secondary shaft splines and remove excess grease.

Note: Use only HONDA Genuine Urea Grease UM264 (P/N41211-PY5-305).

2. Install the ring gear holder.

3. Install the clutch slave disc using the special tool as shown in the figure.



4. Install the pressure plate and tighten the bolts by hand.



5. Tighten the mounting bolts in a cross pattern as shown in the figure. Tighten the bolts in several passes to avoid warping the diaphragm spring.



6. Unscrew the special bolts.

7. Check the height of the diaphragm spring peaks.
