- Standard (new): 0.6 mm
- Limit: 0.8mm
If the height exceeds the allowable limit, replace the pressure plate.
2. Install the special tool as shown in the figure.
3. To avoid warping, unscrew the mounting bolts of the pressure plate crosswise in several passes, then remove the pressure plate.
4. Check the tops of the diaphragm spring for wear at the contact area with the release bearing.
5. Check the surface of the pressure plate for wear, cracks and burning.
6. Check the surface of the pressure plate for warping with a ruler and feeler gauge.
- Standard (new): 0.06mm
- Limit: 0.15mm
If warpage exceeds the allowable limit, replace the pressure plate.
