- Standard (new): 0.6 mm
- Limit: 0.8 mm
If the height exceeds the permissible limit, replace the pressure plate.
2. Install the special tool as shown in the figure.
3. To avoid warping, loosen the pressure plate mounting bolts crosswise in several passes, then remove the pressure plate.
4. Check the diaphragm spring tips for wear where they contact the release bearing.
5. Check the surface of the pressure plate for wear, cracks and burning.
6. Check the surface of the pressure plate for warping using a ruler and feeler gauge.
- Standard (new): 0.06 mm
- Limit: 0.15 mm
If the warpage exceeds the permissible limit, replace the pressure plate.
