Hood opening
1. Pull the hood release handle located in the lower right corner near the driver's seat. At the same time, the hood is unlocked and slightly raised.
2. Place your hand into the gap formed between the hood and the front of the engine compartment, pull the lever and lift the hood.
Caution! Do not open the hood when the windshield wiper is running, this may damage the windshield wiper or the hood.
3. Remove the stand from the socket and install its end into the hood opening.
Closing the hood
1. While supporting the hood, remove the end of the stand from the hole and secure it in the latch. 2. Slowly lower the hood, then press the front of the hood until it locks completely.
Caution! During strong winds, hold the hood tighter when opening. Make sure the hood lock clicks into place after closing.
