Keys
In addition to starting and stopping the engine, the ignition key is also used to lock and unlock the doors.
The remote control can unlock and lock all doors without a key (including tailgate).
Attention:
- Remember the key number.
- If you lose the key, then this number can be used to make a duplicate.
- If you have lost the remote control, contact your Honda dealer.
Unlocking and locking the doors
Caution: Close doors tightly. If the doors are not closed properly, they may open while driving, causing unforeseen consequences.
Unlocking and locking doors from the outside
Insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it. Unlocking or locking the driver's door unlocks or locks all doors (including tailgate).
Locking and unlocking the doors from the passenger compartment
To lock or unlock, move the lock lever or switch in the directions of the arrows shown in the figure.
By operating the switch installed on the driver's door, all doors can be locked and unlocked (including tailgate), and the locking lever can only lock the doors.
Pulling on the inside handle of the driver's door will unlock the door.
Locking doors without a key
Attention: Before locking the doors, make sure you have the key.
Driver's door
1. Move the lock lever or switch towards the locking side.
2. Close the door.
Locking the driver's door locks all doors (including tailgate).
The system of protection against leaving the key in the cabin
If the key is in the ignition, the doors will not lock.
Other doors
Move the locking lever towards the locking side and close the door.
