Attention! Wait until the engine has completely cooled down before proceeding with the procedures!
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Attention! If the stereo system installed in the car is equipped with a security code, before disconnecting the battery, make sure that you have the correct combination to activate the equipment!
2. Remove the air sleeve connecting the air cleaner to the throttle body.
3. Disconnect the throttle position sensor wiring (TPS) from throttle body (see chapter Engine management). Mark and disconnect vacuum hoses from the throttle body.
4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever (see Section Removing, installing and adjusting the accelerator cable) And (with appropriate vehicle equipment) throttle cable in kick-down mode.
5. Disconnect the cooling path hoses from the throttle body. Seal open hose ends immediately to minimize coolant loss.
6. Release 4 fixing nuts, separate the case of a throttle from the inlet pipeline and remove a sealing lining. Carefully scrape the traces of the old gasket from the mating surfaces of the throttle body and the air path pressure chamber.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Don't forget to replace the seal. Fastener of the case of a throttle tighten with the demanded effort. Finally, adjust the accelerator cable (see Section Removing, installing and adjusting the accelerator cable). Check the coolant level, make appropriate adjustments if necessary (see chapter Settings and ongoing maintenance).
