Before dismantling the output shaft, the following measurements should be made. If any dimensions are out of tolerance, then the entire assembly should be disassembled and non-compliant parts replaced.
If all dimensions meet the tolerances, then the output shaft should be disassembled only in case of mechanical damage to any of its parts.
1. Clamp the output shaft assembly into the chuck with 2 wooden sticks to protect the shaft surface.
2. Tighten the locknut to 110 Nm, loosen it and tighten it again to 110 Nm.
3. Measure the clearance between the 1st gear and thrust washer. The tolerance is 0.04-0.18 mm. If the tolerance is not met, then the output shaft assembly should be disassembled and a thrust washer should be selected so that the gap satisfies the tolerance.
4. Measure the clearance between the 3rd and 2nd gears. The tolerance is 0.03-0.18 mm. If the tolerance is not met, then the output shaft assembly should be disassembled and such a bushing-gasket should be selected so that the gap satisfies the tolerance.
