Secondary Shaft Disassembly — 1990-91 Accord, 1988-91 Prelude (Honda Accord 3)

1. Loosen the lock nut and remove the lock washer.

2. Remove the ball bearing.

3. Remove the first needle bearing, 5th, 4th, 3rd and 2nd gears, and the second needle bearing.



4. Remove the first friction damper and spacer bushing.

5. Remove the first synchronizer ring, first spring, reverse gear, second spring and second ring.

6. Remove the second friction damper.

7. Remove the 1st gear pinion, needle bearing and thrust washer.
