2. Install the primary and secondary shaft bearings into the clutch housing.
3. Install the spring washer onto the end of the input shaft and install the input shaft, secondary shaft and shift forks as one assembly.
4. Install the reverse idler gear and idler gear shaft into the clutch housing.
5. Install the reverse shift fork into the clutch housing. Make sure the pin is fully seated in the groove in the fork. Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm.
6. Install the oil guide plate and the selected gasket(s) into the transmission housing.
7. Install the oil groove into the gearbox housing.
8. Thoroughly clean and dry the mating surfaces of the transmission housing and clutch housing. Apply sealant, part number 08718-550000 or equivalent, to the clutch housing.
9. Install the gearbox housing onto the clutch housing, carefully aligning the shafts.
10. Tighten the 8 mm bolts to 28 Nm and the 10 mm bolts to 45 Nm in the appropriate sequence.
11. Install the snap ring onto the secondary shaft ball bearing through the hole in the top of the gearbox housing.
12. Install the 32mm seal bolt. Install the new input shaft front bearing seal.
13. Install the reverse idler gear shaft bolt with a new washer. Tighten the bolt to 55 Nm.
14. Install new differential seals using drift 07749-0010000 with attachment 07947-6110500.
15. Install the reversing light switch with a new washer.
16. Install the new shift lever seal. Install the retainer and shift lever arm.
17. Install the boot onto the shift lever and insert the shift lever into the shift lever arm and retainer.
18. Install the locking pin into the retainer and insert the flange bolt. Tighten the bolt to 28 Nm.
19. Align the holes in the shift lever and shift lever arm and insert the 8mm bolt. Tighten the bolt to 29 Nm.
20. Thoroughly clean and dry the mating surfaces of the shift lever cover and gearbox housing. Apply sealant to the gearbox housing.
21. Install the shift lever arm cover and tighten the bolts to 12 Nm.
