1. Drain the coolant from the engine.
2. Mark and disconnect the heater hoses on the heat-insulating partition.
3. Disconnect the heater valve cable from the heater valve.
4. Remove the dashboard.
5. Remove the heater sleeves.
6. Unscrew the lower mounting nuts that support the heater.
7. Remove the steering column bracket.
8. Unscrew the two remaining mounting bolts supporting the heater. Disconnect the wiring from the mode changeover motor. Remove the heater assembly.
9. Remove the common control unit and bracket from the housing.
10.Remove 2 screws, bracket, base plate and radiator cap.
11. To remove a cover of a radiator of a heater, a basic plate and a collar.
12. Gently pull the heater core out of the casing.
For installation:
13. Install the heater core into the housing, as well as the base plate and clamp.
14. Install the radiator cap, install the plate and bracket.
15. Install the control box and bracket.
16. Install the heater assembly in place. Use grease around the o-rings.
17. Screw in the two upper mounting bolts, tightening them to 10 Nm.
18. Install the steering column bracket.
19. Tighten the lower mounting nuts, tightening them to 22 Nm.
20. Install the heater sleeve.
21. Install the dashboard.
22. Connect the hoses at the joints of the heat-insulating partition. Use new clamps. Make sure the hoses are in the correct position.
23. Connect the heater valve cable.
24. Fill in coolant. Lower the system through the descender.
