Accord 1984-85
1. Remove the temperature control slider and fan control knobs.
2. Remove the instrument panel cover.
3. Remove the upper and lower steering column mounting brackets.
4. Remove the center console and radio.
5. Unscrew the screws at the front of the instrument panel, release the panel.
6. Disconnect the air mixer cable from the heater.
7. Disconnect the cable that controls the hot water supply from the valve.
8. Disconnect the switch wiring and remove the unit.
9. The control unit can be disassembled into components after removal.
To install:
10. Assemble the components if they are disassembled. Install the unit.
11. Connect the switch wiring. Make sure it is connected correctly.
12. Connect the cables that control the water and air supply.
13. Tighten the screws securing the front panel.
14. Install the console and radio.
15. Install and secure the steering column.
16. Install the heater control panel cover and put the control knobs in place.
