1. Remove the ashtray. Remove the center console.
2. Remove the coin box, air ducts and ashtray light bracket.
3. Remove the instrument panel switches to the left and right of the steering wheel.
4. Remove the car radio. Pay attention to the hidden screws at the back and bottom.
5. Lower the steering wheel to the lowest position. Remove the shield.
6. Disconnect the control cables from the heater.
7. Loosen the four screws and gently push the control panel forward.
8. Disconnect the electrical wiring connectors and remove the heater controller.
9. If the fan switch or other individual components need to be replaced, the corresponding control knobs must be removed before disassembly.
To install:
10. Assemble individual components if they were disassembled.
11. Insert the panel and route the cables to the heater body.
12. Connect the wiring connectors. Make sure the harness is outside the work area.
13. Connect the cables to the heater unit. Screw the 4 mounting screws to the control panel.
14. Install the shield. Make sure it is installed evenly and that each mounting screw is in place.
15. Insert the car radio.
16. Install and connect the panel switches, air ducts and ashtray bracket. Install the coin box.
17. Install the console and ashtray.
