
1. Drain the coolant from the bottom hole of the radiator and collect for reuse. The drain pan is placed under the hose connection of the heat-insulating partition, pay attention to the location of the hoses, and then disconnect the two hoses.
2. Disconnect the heater valve cable from the valve. Unscrew the lower heater mounting nut.
3. Remove the instrument panel.
4. Remove the heater hose.
5. Disconnect the operating mode switching cable and the air mixer flap cable from the heater unit.
6. Disconnect the clamps and remove the floor air ducts on both sides of the vehicle. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the 5-way connector.
7. Unscrew the two heater mounting bolts (from above) and remove the heater.
8. Assembly is done in reverse order. Pay attention to the following points:
- a. Use grease on all sealing rings.
- b. Check the position of the inlet and outlet hoses in relation to the heater to ensure that they are not reversed. Install the clamps in the correct positions and ensure that they are securely fastened.
- c. Fill and bleed the cooling system using the bleed bolt.
- d. Make sure that the cables that open/close the flaps are securely connected for proper operation of the flaps.
