1. Raise and secure the vehicle. Remove the front wheels.
2. Support the hub and knuckle assembly with a jack. Use a ball joint puller to disengage the lower arm ball joint. Be careful not to damage the seal.
3. Remove the stabilizer bar mounting bolts.
4. Remove the lower arm pivot bolt.
5. Remove the lower arm. Check bushings for wear or deterioration. Replace bushings at any sign of wear. Even if the bushings are not replaced, clean them and the bolt shafts; dirt and corrosion can cause seizing.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten the bolt securing the lower suspension arm to the chassis to 55 Nm.
