Attention. Before installation, make sure that there is no dirt on the rubbing surfaces and splines.
1. Install the ring clamp on the inner pivot or intermediate shaft.
2. Insert the drive shaft until you hear a click (the ring clip fits into the mounting groove).
3. Pull the steering knuckle towards you and insert the outer joint into the wheel hub.
Attention. Make sure that foreign particles do not get on the contact surfaces of the outer joint, steering knuckle and wheel hub.
4. Remove grease and dirt from the tapered section of the ball joint pin and connect the steering knuckle to the lower arm.
5. Tighten the castle nut to the required torque, and then tighten in the direction of tightening so that the cotter pin can be inserted.
6. Install the cotter pin and bend the ends as shown.
7. Install the shock absorber, align the tab on the shock absorber with the notch on the fork.
8. Apply oil to the threads and seating surface of the new hub nut.
9. Tighten the hub nut and caulk into the notch of the shaft.
10. Make sure that there are no foreign particles on the contact surfaces of the wheels and brake discs and install the wheels.
11. Pour the required amount of fluid into the automatic transmission (see ch. Automatic transmission).
12. Adjust the front wheels (see ch. Front and rear suspension).
