- Check the drive shaft boots for cracks and cuts. Replace the boots and clamps if necessary.
- Check for loose clamps and grease leaks. Replace clamps if necessary.
- Check the drive shafts for deformation and cracks. Replace the drive shafts if necessary.
- Check the inner and outer joints for cracks. If there are cracks on the joints, replace them as an assembly.
- Hold the inner joint with your hand, turn the outer joint left and right and check for play. If there is excessive play, replace the inner or outer joint assembly.
