Front Drive Shafts — Dynamic Damper Replacement (Honda Avancier 1)

Models with a clamp

1. Remove the inner joint (see above).

2. Remove the dynamic damper clamp in the same way as the inner joint clamp (see above).

If the clamps are welded or low profile, cut them off.

If double loop type clamps are installed, insert a screwdriver and release the latches.

3. Wrap the drive shaft with vinyl tape and remove the dynamic damper.



4. Install the dynamic damper according to the figure.



5. Install the dynamic damper clamp in the same way as the inner joint clamp (see below).

6. Install the inner hinge (see below).

Models without clamp

1. Remove the inner and outer joints (see above).

2. Using a press and a special tool, remove the dynamic damper.





3. Place a mark on the drive shaft at the distance shown in the figure.



4. Using a press and a special tool, press the dynamic damper to the mark.
