CR-V
1. The sensor is mounted next to the thermostat and ignition distributor.
2. The sensor contacts should close at a temperature of 91-95°C and open at a temperature of 3-8°C below the contact closing temperature.
Odyssey (4-cyl.)
1. These vehicles have 2 sensors located on the left side of the engine behind the ignition distributor. Sensor A is facing up, sensor B is facing the wall of the engine compartment.
2. Sensor A contacts should be closed at a temperature of 91-95°C, sensor B - at 103-109°C. Contacts should open at a temperature of 3-8°C (sensor A) or 4-9°С (sensor B) below the contact closure temperature.
Odyssey V6
1. These vehicles have 2 sensors, sensor A is on the battery side, sensor B is on the radiator side.
2. Sensor A contacts should be closed at a temperature of 91-95°C, sensor B - at 96-102°C. Contacts should open at a temperature of 3-8°C (sensor A) or 3-10°С (sensor B) below the contact closure temperature.
To remove the sensor, drain the liquid from the cooling system and unscrew the sensor.
Checking the fan on sensor: 1. Thermometer; 2. Sensor; 3. Vessel with water; A and B - sensor outputs
