Attention. Observe fire safety regulations.
2WD models
1. Disconnect the (-) battery cable.
2. Relieve the fuel pressure (see above).
3. Relieve the pressure in the fuel tank by opening the fuel filler cap.
4. Remove the inspection hole cover in the luggage compartment and disconnect the connector (on models with a navigation system, remove the TV receiver).

5. Disconnect the fuel pipes with quick-release couplings (see above).
6. Loosen the fuel pump bracket mounting bolts.
7. Remove the fuel pump from the fuel tank.
8. Remove bracket C, disconnect the connector and remove the fuel filter and fuel pump electric motor.
- When replacing the transmitter unit, insert it securely until it snaps into place without deforming the float arm.
- Do not press on the suction filter from the bottom.

9. After installing the suction filter on the pump electric motor, install the fuel pump in the reverse order of removal.
4WD models
1. Disconnect the (-) battery cable.
2. Relieve the fuel pressure (see above).
3. Relieve the pressure in the fuel tank by opening the fuel filler cap.
4. Remove the inspection hole cover in the luggage compartment and disconnect the connector.
5. Disconnect the fuel pipes with quick-release couplings (see above).
6. Install the special tool on the fuel pump, unscrew the lock nut and remove the fuel pump from the fuel tank.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal, aligning the marks on the fuel tank and pump.
