2. Reassemble the fuel gauge adapter.
3. Remove the fuel pulsation damper and install the adapter and fuel pressure gauge.
4. Disconnect the vacuum tube from the pressure regulator and install a clamp on it.
5. Start the engine and measure the fuel pressure at idle speed.
- Standard pressure: 320-370 kPa (3.3-3.8 kg/cm2)
After measurements, disassemble the adapter, clean it of dirt and store it in a disassembled state so that foreign particles do not get in.
If the fuel pressure is not as specified, perform the following check.
Fuel pressure above normal
Check the fuel return hose and tube for kinks or blockages.
Check fuel pressure regulator (see below).
Fuel pressure below normal
Check for fuel leakage at the fuel supply pipe.
Check fuel pressure regulator (see below).
Check the fuel filter for blockage.
Check fuel pump operation (see below).
