3. 6x1.0 mm, BOLT
4. REFERENCE PIN
5. 6x1.0 mm, 8 BOLTS
6. REFERENCE PIN
7. FEED PIPE BRACKET BOLT
ATF COOLER, 8x1.25mm
8. COOLANT SUPPLY PIPE
ATF FLUIDS ASSEMBLY
9. ATF FLUID PAN
10. 6x1.0mm, 14 BOLTS
11. ATF PAN GASKET. Replace
12. ATF FLUID MESH FILTER 13.6x1.0mm, 2 BOLTS
14. O-RING. Replace
15. LOWER VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY
16. REFERENCE PIN


Note:
  • Clean all parts thoroughly with solvent or carburetor cleaner and dry with compressed air.
  • Blow out all channels.
  • When removing the lower valve body, replace the following:
  • - O-ring seals
  • - ATF fluid pan gasket


1. Remove the ATF cooler feed pipe bracket bolt.

2. Remove the ATF fluid pan (fourteen bolts).

3. Remove the ATF fluid mesh filter (two bolts).

4. Remove one bolt securing the solenoid harness connector, then slide the connector off.

5. Remove the lower valve body (eight bolts).

6. Clean the ATF coarse filter inlet thoroughly with compressed air, then check whether it is in good condition and whether the inlet is clogged.

7. Replace the ATF fluid strainer if it is clogged or damaged.

Note: The ATF fluid strainer can be reused if it is not clogged.
