1. Remove the master cylinder (see above).

2. Remove the piston rod seal from the brake booster side.

3. Remove the ring clamp by pressing down the secondary piston (figure in the middle column in the center).

5. Remove the lid from the tank and the mesh filter from the tank.

6. Remove the seal from the tank lid.

1. TANK SEAL. Check for damage and wear

3. MESH FILTER. Remove accumulated sediment
4. TANK. Check for damage
5. MASTER CYLINDER. Check cylinder walls for wear, rust and damage
6. RUBBER BUSHINGS. Replace




7. Remove the tank and rubber bushings.

Note: If the reservoir and master cylinder body become separated, replace the rubber bushings with new ones.
