Caution: Before performing work on removing and installing fuel system components, the residual fuel pressure in the line must be released.
1. Before resetting the memory, make sure you have the code for the radio.
2. Remove the main injection system relay 2 from the fuse box.

3. Start the engine and let it idle until it stops.
Note: If any fault codes appear, clear them.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
5. Remove the fuel filler cap.
6. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
7. Remove the quick release cover.
8. Make sure the lid is free of dirt, clean it if necessary.
9. Place a rag on the quick release coupling.

10. Disconnect part "A" of the quick-release coupling: secure connector "B" with one hand and squeeze tube holder "C" with the other hand, releasing it from locking tab "D". Disconnect the coupling.

Note:
- Do not damage the line and other parts.
- Do not use special tools.
- Do not remove the holder from the fuel line, once removed, replace it with a new one.
11. Check the quick release coupling for dirt and damage.
12. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
Checking components
Checking fuel pressure
1. Relieve the fuel pressure,
2. Assemble a circuit with a pressure gauge to check the fuel pressure.

3. Check the fuel pressure.
- a) Start the engine.
- b) Check the idle pressure.
- c) Turn off the engine.
If the pressure is not within specification, replace the fuel filter and pressure regulator and repeat the test.
- Nominal pressure - 3.1 - 3.6 kg/cm²
4. Relieve the fuel pressure and remove the pressure gauge.
Nozzles
1. Check the resistance between the terminals of the injector connector.
- Nominal resistance (at 20°C) - 10-13 Ohm
A - injector connector.
2. Using a phonendoscope, check the operation of the injector with the engine running. The sound of the injector needle cutting off should be clear and rhythmic.

Fuel pump
1. Relieve residual fuel pressure.
2. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
3. Remove the driver's side fuse box cover.
4. Slide the relay holder out of the fuse box, remove the main relay "2" (blue) and reinstall the relay holder.
A - holder,
B - main relay.
5. Short-circuit terminals "1" and "2" of the relay connector.

6. Place the hose on the tube.
A - tube,
B - hose.
7. Turn the ignition key to the "ON(ll)" position, make sure the pump is running. Check the amount of fuel flowing out within 10 seconds.
- Nominal volume - 270 ml and above
Fuel lines.
1 - fuel vapor recovery system valve,
2 - fuel vapor recovery system filter,
3 - fuel filler neck,
4 - fuel tank,
5 - fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel level indicator sensor, pressure regulator,
6, 9 - fuel lines with quick-release coupling,
7 - fuel vapor recovery system tubes,
8 - fuel pipe,
10 - nozzle,
11 - fuel manifold,
12 - Additional fuel pump (4WD models).
