Note: disassemble and assemble using the assembly drawing "Master Brake Cylinder".


1. Press down on the piston (A) and, while holding the piston down, remove the retaining ring (B).

2. Remove the brake fluid reservoir (A).

2. Remove the brake fluid reservoir (A).


3. Press down on the piston and, while holding the piston down, remove the locking pin (B).

4. Remove piston No.2 (A) and piston No.1 (B).

4. Remove piston No.2 (A) and piston No.1 (B).


5. Remove the lid (A) of the reservoir (C) and then the lid seal (D).



5. Remove the lid (A) of the reservoir (C) and…


6. Remove the filter (B) and connecting sleeves (E) from the brake fluid reservoir (C).

Note: Replace the coupling bushings with new ones each time the reservoir is disconnected from the master cylinder.


Note:
  • Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
  • When installing, apply brake fluid to the piston seals.
