1. MTF replacement must be carried out in strict accordance with the vehicle's routine maintenance schedule.

2. Prepare a supply of fresh transmission oil of the required grade (see Specifications).

3. Other necessary tools and materials include: stands to secure the vehicle in a raised position, a 3/8" ratchet (with extension) to a socket wrench, a drain pan with a minimum capacity of 4 liters, and a supply of rags and/or old newspapers.

4. The oil should be drained after being warmed up to normal operating temperature during a short drive. Hot oil has a higher fluidity and better washes out sludge and other deposits. After making a short drive and warming up the gearbox to normal operating temperature, park the car on a flat horizontal area with a hard surface, jack it up and place it on supports, ensuring free access to the crankcase drain plug. Unscrew the plug and drain the oil into a prepared drain container.

5. Screw the drain plug back into place and tighten it securely.

6. Pour the required amount of fresh transmission oil of the required grade into the manual transmission housing. The level can be considered normalized when the oil starts to flow out over the edge of the filler hole.

7. Lower the car to the ground.
