Warning! The models covered in this manual are equipped as standard with an additional security system (SRS), better known as the airbag system. Always disable the SRS system before doing any work around the directional g-sensors, steering column, or instrument panel to prevent accidental deployment of the airbags, which could result in serious injury (see chapter Onboard electrical equipment).
1. The models in question are equipped with two elements that filter the air injected into the passenger compartment by the air conditioning system. The filters are placed in a casing located near the A/C evaporator, on the right under the instrument panel.
2. Remove glove box assembly (see chapter Body).
3. Turn out three fixing screws and remove a rib of a ware box.
4. Release the clamp located below and remove the cover of the casing of the filters of the A/C system.
5. Remove the lower filter element from the casing first, then the upper one.
6. Release the old filters from their holders and replace them with new ones.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
