2. Remove the center console (see Chapter Body).
3. Chock the front wheels, then jack up the rear of the car and place it on stands. Apply the parking brake one click.

4. While manually rotating the rear wheels of the vehicle, tighten the adjusting nut on the parking brake cable equalizer assembly clockwise. Stop tightening the nut as soon as the wheels begin to "stick.".
5. Release the parking brake lever and check that the rear wheels rotate freely. When the drive is adjusted correctly, the stroke of the parking brake control lever should correspond to the value specified in the Specifications in Chapter Settings and ongoing maintenance of this Guide.
6. Lower the vehicle to the ground, then reinstall the center console (see Chapter Body).
