Examination
1. Disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor-switch and remove the cover from the master cylinder reservoir.

2. Check the free movement of the sensor float. If signs of jamming are detected, replace the assembly. Using an ohmmeter, make sure there is no conductivity between the terminals of the sensor-switch connector when the float is raised and that there is conductivity when the float is lowered.

3. Make sure there is conductivity between the connector terminals with the float lowered.
4. If the test results are negative, replace the faulty sensor switch.
Replacement
1. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the sensor switch.
2. Remove the cover from the brake master cylinder reservoir and replace it together with the sensor switch.
3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
