Before disassembling the primary shaft, the following measurements should be taken. If any dimensions are outside the tolerance limits, the primary shaft should be disassembled and the necessary thrust washers should be replaced. If all dimensions are within tolerances, the primary shaft should be disassembled only if any shaft components are damaged.
1. Measure the gap between the edge on the 4th gear pinion and the sealing collar. The tolerance is 0.03-0.18 mm. If the tolerance is not met, then measure the width of the 4th gear pinion. The width tolerance is 31.30-31.47 mm.
2. Measure the clearance between the edges of the 3rd and 2nd gears. The tolerance is 0.03-0.18 mm. If the tolerance is not met, then measure the width of the 3rd gear. The width tolerance is 31.30-31.47 mm.
3. Measure the gap between the edges of the 5th gear pinion and the sealing collar. The tolerance is 0.03-0.13 mm. If the tolerance is not met, then measure the width of the 5th gear pinion. The width tolerance is 32.30-32.47 mm.
4. Measure the clearance between the 28mm bushing and the ball bearing. The tolerance is 0-0.01mm. If the tolerance is not met, the washer should be replaced. The following sizes of washers are available:
- A - 1.88-1.92 mm.
- B - 1.94-1.98 mm.
- C - 2.00-2.04 mm.
- D - 2.06-2.10 mm.
- E - 2.12-2.16 mm.
5. If any dimension does not meet the tolerance, then before disassembling the unit, you should calculate the thickness that must be selected to fall within the working range.
