Disassembly
1. Remove the selector lever arm from the selector lever.
2. Remember the location of the 2 springs and remove the selection lever from the cover.
3. Remove the springs and the selector lever return pin.
4. Remove the seal from the cover.
5. Remove the reverse locking cam.
Inspection
1. Inspect the springs for deformation and rust.
2. Inspect the selector lever shaft for scoring and flaking of metal.
3. Inspect the reverse locking cam for wear.
Assembly
1. Install a new oil seal into the shift lever arm cover.
2. Install the reverse locking cam. Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm.
3. Install the selector lever return pin. Holding the shift lever arm cover upside down, install the return springs into their places on the bottom of the cover and position the selector lever through the cover and springs into the selector lever arm. Insert the roll pin.
